Hello today I will talk about the Washington Capitals. Alex Ovechkin and the Caps won the franchise first Stanley Cup in 2018. Alex Ovechkin has played all of his NHL games with the Caps and is the best Russian hockey player of all time.

The current star of the Washington Capitals are Alex Ovechkin , Braden Holtby, John Carlsson not the same Carlsson has Eric Karlsson, T.J. Oshie and Alex Ovechkin‘s all time partner Nicklas Backstrom.

The Edmonton Oilers joined the league in 1979 to end the 1979 extension. They have won in 1984, 1985, 1987, 1988 and 1990.

The Oilers had worlds greatest hockey player of all time Wayne Geztky .

They also had NHL legend Jari Kurri who played very good for the oilers here is the rest of the legend players who played on Edmonton Grant Fur, Marty Mcsorley and Mark Messier. Their current stars are Connor Mcdavid, Leon Draisitle, James Neal and Mike smith.

31 Teams Till Christmas #19

Today I shall write about the (Quebec City) not the province Quebec but the Quebec Nordiques. The Nordiques joined the league in 1979. they eventually became the Colorado Avalanche in 1995 and since then Colorado have won in 1996 and 2001.

The avalanche have hade NHL legends Joe Sakic, Patrick Roy, Paul Stastny and Ray Bourque. But when they where the Nordiques they had Joe Sakic still, Peter Stastny, Mats Sundin, Guy Lafleur and Owen Nolan.

The Avalache current stars are Nathan MacKinnon, Mikko Rantanen and Nazem Kadri.

Today we will go way back to the Hartford Whalers back in 1979 in 1997 they became the Carolina Hurricanes.

Carolina won the Stanley Cup in 2006 but Hartford never won it.

The hurricanes And whalers have had legend players, Gordie Howe, Ron Francis and Rod Brind Amour with them. their current star players are Sebastian Aho and one of the staal brothers Jordan Staal.

Hello today We will talk about the old Winnipeg Jets in today 31 Teams till Christmas.

The old Winnipeg Jets jojned the league in 1979

Thees Winnipeg Jets never won a Stanley Cup neither. but NHL legned Teemu Selanne was drafted by them and played for them.

The. They became the Phoenix Coyotes and they don’t have any star players right now.

Oh legend Goalie Tom Barrasso played for them come to think of it. Thanks

The San Jose Sharks joined the NHL in 1991 witch started the Tampa Bay to the Columbus blue jackets expansion. the sharks Closes win the was in the finals against the Pittsburgh Penguins but they lost for games so the penguins won the cup.

The San Jose stars are Joe Thorton, Patrick Marleau, Logan Couture, Brent Burns and Erik Karlsson who is not much of a star this year. They would had Joe pavelski there former captain if they did not sign Erik Karlsson for 11 million$ Canadian.

Joe Pavelski signed with the Dallas stars the same team Corey Perry went to.

The Tampa Bay Lightning joined the league in 1992 so the same year as the Ottawa Senators.

The lightning have won the Stanley Cup in 2004 and so far their the only team I’ve posted about on the 31 Teams Till Christmas that have won a Stanley Cup.

They have four star players. Andrei Vasileski, Steven Stamkos, Nikita Kucherov and Victor Headman.

Victor Headman might not look good but for the amount of games hes played that’s a lot for a defense man.

The Ottawa Senators joined in 1992, they have never won a Stanley Cup or been in the playoffs for 2 years.

The Chicago Blackhawks made a trade with them It was Zack Smith for Artem Anisimov , Any ways the Hawks got the better deal Jake Says *boya!*.

But any ways they have no star players.
